New Indonesia-Japan cooperation
15 Januari 2026On Thursday (January 15, 2026) at the Indonesian Embassy in Tokyo, witnessed by Transportation Attaché Ikhsandy Wanto Hatta, an MoU was signed between MASKA and the Japan Railway Technical Service (JARTS) concerning cooperation in the railway sector.

JARTS is a legal entity with approximately 200 railway-related companies in Japan as members. These companies include train operators, railway companies, electronics and other manufacturing companies, trading companies, construction companies, and consulting firms.

Japan is currently in dire need of skilled workers, such as train drivers and railway infrastructure/facility maintenance personnel. Through this collaboration, MASKA plays a crucial role in preparing competent railway human resources for deployment to Japan.

One of the main requirements is Japanese language skills and railway technical skills.
It is hoped that this collaboration with JARTS will enhance cooperation between the two countries in the railway sector.
